I am Jude, a professionally qualified psychosynthesis counsellor., with a postgraduate diploma in psychosynthesis counselling.

I trained at the Psychosynthesis Trust in London and have ongoing clinical supervision for my work.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their ethical framework.

In my practice, I use a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to suit the needs of each individual client, and may draw on techniques including guided imagery, meditation, gestalt therapy, breath work, art therapy, journalling and creative dialogue. I also pay attention to physical sensations and may use body awareness techniques and movement in our work.

No matter how stuck or impossible a situation may seem, I believe that it holds potential for healing and growth.

Background

Before setting up my practice I spent 20 + years in Human Resources in a variety of industries. Prior to that I was an engineer working in the construction industry. Both of these careers were about relationships and wanting to make a difference, it is no surprise that I finally listened and trained as a counsellor.

My experience covers a range of issues including depression, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, loneliness, family and relationship concerns, career or life choices. This is not a definitive list and I will help you to explore whatever you’d like to bring to our sessions.
